Swan House Atlanta Wedding | Tullika & Sean
Swan House Atlanta Wedding | A Stylish Cultural Affair
This Swan House Atlanta wedding weekend will forever be etched in my memory. I don’t think I’ll ever get over how beautiful and meaningful every moment was. Tullika and Sean are truly remarkable individuals, with a depth that’s rare to find. We not only fell in love with both of their families, but also the rich traditions that came with them. It began with an intimate Puja & Haldi ceremony at her parents’ home. Sacred rituals and heartfelt moments set the tone for what would be an unforgettable journey. The Sangeet at The Foundry was nothing short of magical. Designed to transport guests to an extravagant Indian market, it was a vibrant explosion of color, music, and joy that felt straight out of a dream.
Tullika quickly became one of my favorite people to work with. From the very first phone call, we clicked instantly. Her humor, honesty, and the way we bonded over our immigrant mothers and our classic American husbands made it feel like we’d known each other for years. It’s rare to feel that kind of connection so quickly. She has this effortless warmth that made everything about working with her feel natural and fun.
And then, there was the wedding day held at the enchanting Swan House. It was a perfect backdrop for a ceremony that was both elegant and deeply personal.
It felt like a true honor to witness and document these moments. Tullika and Sean truly created something magical, and we are undeniably grateful to have been a part of it.
Tullika wrote the kindest review that captures the heart of what we strive for in our work. (And and left me in tears):
“Best wedding decision I could’ve made!! I don’t have enough good words to describe our experience with Ben and Vicky. After we made the decision to have our wedding in Atlanta, I took a deep dive into Georgia-based photographers and just fell in love with their style. When Vicky and I chatted over the phone, I could feel her genuine warmth as we spoke. I confided about how I was gearing up for all the beauty, chaos and hilarity that comes with my big, boisterous Indian family. We connected over the parallels with her own culture a la “Big Fat Greek Wedding.”
The weekend arrived before I knew it. Our original vision for a two-day, 200-person affair had somehow been stretched like pizza dough into a 4-day marathon with 400+ attending our sangeet, a welcome party that may not have actually ever ended, and a beautiful ceremony that belied the chaos of a rain delay and setting up the ceremony outside, then inside, then outside again. The mother of the bride may or may not have been 2 hours late to the venue (she looked stunning). The father of the bride was driving minibuses across 3 locations at all hours of his own accord. In 4 days, the bride (me) never managed to get her ID, clothes, shoes, wallet, phone charger, and brain in one place at the same time. The groom is just a good guy, he was fine. It was fun, it was vibrant, it was… a little unhinged.
Throughout all of this, Ben and Vicky were a port in the storm. They brought a sense of calm, warmth, perspective. They radiated a quiet happiness that grounded us when things threatened to overwhelm. I think my now-husband said it best, they’re just really talented, salt-of-the-earth kind of people. They always rolled with the punches, helped us to do so as well. And gave us space to carve out a few special moments for ourselves over a boisterous weekend. I think that this is reflected in the images they captured. Their work speaks for itself and we will cherish these photos and these memories forever.”
Tullika & Sean, thank you for sharing your heart with us and for trusting us to capture these memories.
xx Vicky
