Katie and Will’s wedding at Crane Cottage was a dream to document. We loved getting to know these two, from shooting their engagement photos at Montaluce to planning the wedding throughout the year. Katie was incredible to work with. She planned the entire wedding herself and did the most amazing job!
Jekyll Club is a special place. And Crane Cottage is its secret garden. It’s absolutely breathtaking! It’s the largest and most extravagant of the cottages on the island, brimming with Italian Renaissance flair. The sunken garden is a wonder to behold, making Crane Cottage a gem in the crown of Jekyll Club.
The weather had been teasing us, cloudy with rain in the forecast and then the sun would peak through for a few seconds. We prayed the rain would hold out until after the ceremony, and God answered those prayers. The rain came just in time to set the mood for a romantic dinner and reception. Everyone danced the night away, even their grandparents!
The whole vibe of the day was so relaxed. Nothing ever felt rushed. I have to brag that Katie and I made a pretty solid timeline together, and we could definitely feel the smooth flow of the entire day.
