Atlanta Engagement Photos | Courthouse Wedding
From engagement photos at the steps of the Atlanta courthouse to a ceremony at a little butcher shop across town, this was such a unique afternoon. Sarah and Michael are truly some of the kindest souls we have ever met. When Sarah reached out about her engagement photos, she wanted to do something that would capture their love and also celebrate signing their marriage license.
We instantly connected when we met them downtown at the courthouse. Their energy was warm, fun and romantic. They are the kind of naturals that have never had professional photos taken but look like models on camera. Once we were done with the courthouse urban vibes part of the shoot, they hopped in the car with us. We then headed to Virginia Highlands for photos outside their dinner spot at the Kinship Butcher and Sundry. The owners are close friends of Sarah and Michael. Here they planned to have a private dinner with a handful of people that were near and dear to them.
We were then surprised to find out that one of their best friends was to marry them right then and there in a small, intimate ceremony at the butcher shop. I love that they came up with such a sweet way to celebrate the signing of their marriage certificate. Surrounded by their closest friends, at a local spot, in way they will forever cherish.
Everything that Sarah and Michael planned that afternoon had so much intimacy. We were so honored to document this special moment for them.
We loved meeting these two and wish them all the beautiful wedding vibes at their destination wedding in Banff this year!
